Aims of Iran A.S Society:

To increase public awareness of ankylosing spondylitis.
To disseminate knowledge of the diseases in us country.
To advise patients in social and medical problems associated with the condition.
To arrenge the exchange of experience among the patients.

Iran A.S Society

Iran A.S Society established in 1993 to increase public awareness of ankylosing spondylitis.Unfortunately ,Iran A.S Society hadn’t effective activity in 1993 till 2001 and us professional activity started in 2001.Because,Iran A.S Society is non government organization and manage with member ship fee($3.5 per years),therefore,unfortunately can’t provide a much facilities for patients .but anyhow us society could identifiy 450 patients in social and we know that exist more patients in iran and we must identifiy them.
Us society received 2 book about A.S from England society(NASS) and given those to patients after translate. We have a good relation with ASIF and this federation helped to us ,for example ASIF sent 2 gymnastic ball for Iran patients and put Iran A.S Society information in ASIF web sait.
